We have always been connected to the industrial world. Me (Luiz) and Renata, the two partners at Sensio, are brothers and we were born into a family with both parents who were entrepreneurs in the industrial business, our father with a furniture factory and our mother with a pillow manufacturer.
I, who literally crawled on the factory floor, always liked to accompany my father to work and be in the midst of the machines. So much so that I decided to study mechatronics engineering to combine my two passions: industry and technology.
In this photo, it's me building a new warehouse in the factory.
After graduating in São Paulo, I returned to the interior of Minas Gerais to help with my father's factory, and for 3 years, I went through various functions, from driving a forklift to designing new furniture.
Acting as plant manager, I realized that my biggest obstacle to more efficient industrial management were the tools available: our management system was unable to provide the information I needed.
From knowing the status of an order in production, to knowing how much we had invoiced in the month, everything was a great difficulty, and when researching the market, I realized that there were no tools really focused on the industry accessible to medium and small businesses.
Still in there, I began to write the first lines of code for what today has become Sensio, the industrial management system that I would like to have at that time when I was a factory manager.
Renata joined to set up the commercial structure and since then we haven't stopped growing: today we are more than 15 people and we have simplified the lives of more than 200 industries across Brazil.
Recently, we received an investment from the Brazilian multinational CHRISTAL, an industrial group with more than 50 years of expertise and which saw us as a partner for the technological development of the industry.
Our mission, to make industries smarter and more efficient, is just beginning, and we know that we still have a long history ahead of us, but we are already very proud of what we are building in these 4 years of Sensio.
We thank each of our employees, clients, and friends, who are fundamental to our journey, and we go ahead in search of much more!
